Fripp Island Golf & Beach Resort is located on Fripp Island, South Carolina, a 3500-acre private island located at the end of U.S. Highway 21 South. It is the last inhabited island in a chain of islands leading from historic Beaufort to the Atlantic Ocean. During the summer we are in full swing with Resort guests checking in and out every week. The company maintains a staff of more than 400 people in the summer season and over 250 people in the off-season. A diverse group of employees is required to maintain the resort’s beauty and to satisfy the guests’ service expectations while staying at this most special of South Carolina Resorts. Fripp Island Resort offers a paid internship/practicum program in our Recreation Department for current and recently graduated college and university students interested in a Resort Industry Internship as a Recreation or Naturalist Intern. It is our objective to recruit the most qualified students and provide them experiences that enhance professional development and career opportunities.
