Welcome to Fripp Island Flockstars!

When Laura approached us about hosting one day of the race in 2018 we were beyond thrilled. Imagine our excitement when we learned we would be hosting the entire race in 2019!

We can’t wait to share our little piece of paradise with all of you and hope you’ll check out the Pledge the Pink schedule below and join us for all the fun that we have planned this year. Flock on!

Welcome to Fripp Island!

We are so excited to be hosting you for Pledge the Pink 2019!

Listed here in the Pledge the Pink schedule are activities that will be available to you. This does not include all race specific activities, but rather, fun extra ways to experience Fripp Island. (This schedule is intended for Pledge the Pink 2019 participants and volunteers.)

 

 

Fripp Island Golf Cart Scavenger Hunt

2-3pm at Peg Leg’s (at the Marina)

$5 Per Person

Grab your team and set off with a list of clues that will take you all over the island.  Must provide your own camera and golf cart.    Pay at Peg Leg’s. No minimum quantity.

 

Dolphin Cruise

2-2:55pm | 3-3:55pm | 4-4:55pm at the Marina

$15 Per Person

A cruise on the Fripper II is a perfect way to experience the beautiful waterways surrounding Fripp Island. Learn a little about our local eco-system and be on the lookout for dolphins. Be sure to stop at the Marina store to pick up drinks and snacks to take on your cruise! Reservations & Pre-Payment Required. Limited to 47 People Per Cruise, Minimum 12 Needed.

 

Tie Dye

2-4pm at Peg Leg’s

$20 Per T-Shirt

Tie dye is the best Fripp Island souvenir. All things pink are great Pledge the Pink souvenirs. Put them together and you get pink tie dyed t-shirts! Join us at Peg Leg’s as we get creative and make wearable reminders of PTP 2019.

 

Flocks of Love Flamingo Decorating

Decorate your hard-earned Flocks of Love flamingos.

 

Sign Making

3-8pm in the Beach Club Circle

Join your Pledge the Pink crew and volunteers to make crazy, fun and creative signs for the weekend.

 

Packet Pickup

3-8pm at The Beach Club

Kick off the best weekend of your lives! Stop by the Beach Club to pick up your race packet and have any questions answered. DJ Allen will be there to get the party going. The Sandbar will be open!

 

Sunset Fripper Cruise

5-7pm at the Marina

$28 Per Person

A cruise on the Fripper II is a perfect way to experience the beautiful waterways surrounding Fripp Island.  Relax and watch the sun go down on another beautiful day at Fripp. Be sure to stop at the Marina store to pick up drinks and snacks to take on your cruise! Reservations & Pre-Payment Required. Limited to 47 People Per Cruise, Minimum 12 Needed.

 

Welcome Dinner

5-8pm at Cabana Club

$25 Per Person

Enjoy a Bruschetta Bar, Pasta Station and more! Reservations & Pre-Payment Required. Limited to first 150 people

 

Sunset Camp Games

6-7pm on the Beach in Front of The Beach Club

Head out to the beach for some good old-fashioned fun. Enjoy games like sack races, tug of war, 3-legged races and more!

 

Welcome Pool Party

7:30-10:30pm at The Adult Pool

Hang out with your fellow Flockstars around the pool as we kick off the weekend! We’ll have live entertainment and The Sandbar will be open with all of your favorite libations. Door prizes (including WEEKEND STAYS!) will be given away throughout the night. Must be present to win. Hope to see you all there!

Fore! This is a FUN tournament – golf skills (or clubs) not necessary! Try your hand at putting and chipping. Payout for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Clubs provided. Come cheer on your friends or teammates! Reservations  & Pre-Payment Required. Limited to the first 80 players, 36 players minimum.

Don’t miss your chance to see sunrise on the beach and be part of the giant flock photo. Buses will leave for the race at 8am so make sure you head here first.

Golf Cart Decorating Contest Parade

Plan ahead and “Fancy” up your golf cart! Bring out the balloons, streamers and any other crazy stuff you can dream up and meet us as The Beach Club. We’ll caravan down to the Marina where prizes will be awarded for the best carts.

Grab a deck chair and a cold drink then kick back and relax while we watch one of your favorites on the inflatable screen.

 

 

– Some of the activities listed have a maximum or minimum number of participants.

– Register early for events you’re interested in.

– Based on participation, this schedule is subject to change.

– Club Guest Cards (think of them like a temporary membership to a private club) will be required for any regularly scheduled resort activities that are NOT listed on this PTP schedule. Each guest over the age of 13 needs a Guest Card for that additional access. If you rent through the Resort, your rental comes with a card for each guest staying in the home.

Fripp Island:

– Nightly catered dinners at Fripp Island Resort (see schedule for details and page 16 & 17 for full menus).   Limited to first 150 to sign up.

– Bonito Boathouse offers a casual seafood menu overlooking the water at the Fripp Island Marina. Open nightly 5:30pm to 9pm. View the menu.

– The Food Court (located at the Beach Club) will be open Daily 11am to 9pm.

– Ocean Point Grille is open from 7am to 5pm (Breakfast 7-11am, Lunch 11am-3pm, Snacks after 3pm). View the menu.

– Catered Family Dinners will be available to order through our Group Sales department. Call 843-838-1507.
